Afternoon Heat
Afternoon Heat
Field Studies 01 · Jaisalmer
The warmth of stone. The stillness of an afternoon in the desert.
Afternoon Heat draws from Jaisalmer’s sun-warmed architecture and the expansive landscapes of the Thar. Abstract forms and tactile detail translate the feeling of the place into a contemporary composition, leaving room for your own associations.
Reproduced from an original SAVAAI collage, the unframed print preserves the material character of the handmade work. An expression of cultural memory, made to find its place in the life you are creating.
Part of Field Studies, SAVAAI’s ongoing exploration of Indian landscapes through colour, material and memory.
Supplied as an unframed art print. Frames shown are for styling purposes only.
Paper & Print Quality
We use giclée printing to reproduce the rich colours, subtle shading and intricate fabric details of our original artworks with precision. Archival pigment inks provide lasting colour, preserving the qualities that make each piece distinctive.
Printed on Enhanced Matte Art 200 gsm paper, each artwork has a smooth, matte finish that lets colour and detail take focus. The surface captures the layered textures and subtle contrasts of our original collages, preserving their material character in print.
Sustainability
We use sustainably sourced paper and water-based inks, with plastic-free packaging to protect your artwork on its journey.
