Shaivism 01 is an unframed contemporary Indian art print reinterpreting the Tripundra, the sacred three-lined mark associated with Shiva. Pale horizontal bands rest across layered blue fabrics, framed by a deep burgundy ground. The simplicity of the symbol holds the eye, while shifting tones and irregular edges invite a closer look.
Reproduced from an original SAVAAI collage of linen and cotton, the print preserves the visible weave, loose threads, and layered detail of the handmade work. An inherited symbol finds a contemporary expression, bringing a sense of stillness and contemplation into the spaces we live with.
